Please note that if you are interested in participating in one of our MatYoga and Pilates group classes, you will need to first participate in a brief 45 minute evaluation to assess if your back condition is able to tolerate the level of reconditioning at these classes. We care about your safety and preventing any back flare ups.
Mat Yoga and Pilates (Yogilates) classes are integrated classes of Pilates exercises followed by Yoga and relaxation. The classes are conducted by physical therapists who are experienced in Yoga for back pain, as well as by certified Pilates instructors and personal trainers specialized in core conditioning, who are experienced in working with back pain patients. There are no more than 8 participants in each class, which allows the instructors to supervise and instruct each individual in properly performing the exercises. All exercises are carefully designed for patients with back pain in order to maximize the effectiveness of the class and minimize the flare up of back pain. Our goal is for you to have a fun and comfortable experience as you recondition your back to a higher level of physical ability.

Wednesdays 6:00 pm to 7:00pm
If you are self referred or referred by another health care professional a brief back evaluation is required prior to your participation in the classes.
